Jefferson was the captain of a ship that sank in Calabria in 1871, he found shelter with Giocondo at the Vecchio Magazzino Doganale, and created what he called Amaro Importante, this has been adapted and transformed to make it excellent today. Ideal served fresh or with ice, surprising in mixing as a bitter or in support of vermouth.
